Catholic Heroes of the Faith

Real People, Real Stories, Real Faith!

Notes

New episode in production!

“Better late than never”, so goes the saying! But when you’re swimming upstream as we are by creating true-life stories with a great emphasis on faith, things take a little longer to pull off. However, we are happy to announce that pre-production work has begun on “The Saint Augustine Story”, and we are very excited about.

You may wonder why we have chosen such an intellectual saint. The fact is, the funding for this particular character came in and we sense it is an act of divine providence! Besides, we hope the story will whet people’s appetite to learn more about this important person in church history.

And don’t anticipate a “heady”, boring story. Saint Augustine went through a lot before he surrendered himself to God and dedicated himself to His service!

We’ll be posting updates as we move along, which you are sure to enjoy. And if you would like to see other characters’ stories go into production, please pray for it.

We have Heaven and its inhabitants to help us, so please bring your faith-filled prayers before God’s throne. We sure need ‘em!

And as a reminder, we’re doing a lot for our younger audience. Check out http://www.brotherfrancisonline.com/blog for some exciting news about “Brother Francis: The Rosary”, the third episode in the “Brother Francis” series.

God bless you!

Christmas Blessings from Catholic Heroes of the Faith!

Thank you for your continued interest and support of the “Catholic Heroes of the Faith” series.  We have received great reviews this year to the animated “The Story of St. Perpetua” and the documentary “The Passion of St. Perpetua: Martyr of the Faith”, hosted by Catholic author, Mike Aquilina.

“My 11-year old loved this story. It was great to learn about St. Perpetua, a lesser-known saint.” - Rowie, TX

“The story of St. Perpetua and friends is well told and historically correct in this short DVD. I have heard the names of St Perpetua and St. Felicity for many years, but never knew much about them. This children’s film has peaked my interest in them, and I intend to read the writings of St. Perpetua mentioned in the film…  Highly recommended!”  -Annie, Mid-MI

Please keep us in your prayers as we plan further animated episodes and documentaries for next year.

Meanwhile check out the touching “St. Nicholas of Myra” E-book and many other educational resources at  www.catholicheroesofthefaith.com.

Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter and Facebook!  Merry Christmas!
